Korean Lesson number 1
This blog post is an answer to your request about my Korean lesson. You will see that being able to read and write foreign language will amuse your friends, so are you ready to become a star??
Take note that this is just a basic lesson, if you want more advance lesson you can enroll to some online lesson or you can also buy Korean book for you to learn more about the grammar and other thing.
Lets get it on!
The first letter you should learn is the Bieup
ㅂ
This is a consonant and it sound as an english B or P
The next one is vowel that will help you read
ㅏ
This is pronounced as a in the english word father
So if you will combine the two ㅂㅏcan you guess how this character is pronounced?
It is pronounced as "ba"
Another important letter is
ㄴ
This is Nieun or letter N in the english alphabet.
Now can you write NA now?
Every character represents one syllable, so if you want to write "nana" it would be like this:
ㄴㅏㄴㅏ
Every Korean syllable starts with a consonant, so it is very easy to identify the beginning and the end of the syllable. But in some cases there are words that starts with vowel just like the famous "annyeong haseyo"
Those syllables need a placeholder consonant that isn't pronounced. The power of it in pronunciation is zero as in nothing, it is also written like a zero.
0
this is called leung
here are some words to help you read:
0ㅏㅂㅏname of a popular band
0ㅏㅂㅏㄴㅏcapital of cuba
If you will write be sure to put it in an imaginary box, so if in one syllable has three letters that ends with consonant, you need to put the last letter(consonant) below the two first letter. For example this is the syllable "ban" which has no meaning of its own:
반
another one is
안나 anna/ an-na
반
another one is
안나 anna/ an-na
Did you find it easy? If so, I can promise you that you have everything it takes to be able to read and write Korean fluently. The next lesson will based on what you learned here and you will find them easier. come back later for the next lesson.

What To Do Before Your Trip
These are the things that you need to know before heading off around the world. Getting organized can be daunting. i've come up with this list of hanDy tips to make your trip the best ever!
1. Suitcases vs Backpacks
If you're travelling for more than six months, backpack is a better choice because it will ne easier to walk around. If you're only going for a couple of months and you hate carrying stuffs at your back then settle to suitcase.
2.Packing
Always travel as light as you can. But be sure to carry inflatable pillows, socks for the plane and baby wipes to freshen up.
3. Read information about your trip
the dos and don'ts, transport, weather (to know what garments to bring)
4. Check your cards
call your bank and tell them you're going on a trip so your funds do not get cancelled while you are travelling. Bring extra cash.
5. Get healthy
Acquire medical advice from your doctor. He might also advise you to be vaccinated if you need to. It's better to be safe than sorry.
6. Snaphots 101
Don't forget about your camera. Make sure memory card/s are big enough to store your snaps and bring extra batteries, you don't want your camera dying at the underground river.
7. Transportation
Riding on a bus or train when you're travelling is your cherished rest time so use your luggage to your advantage. Your suitcase is a good sit in a crowded bus and your backpack is a good pillow. Doing this wil also ensure safety on your belongings.
8. Dictionary
A phrase book or a dictionary can really save your life specially when you are lost to ask for directions.
9. Foods
Food is charming but it can get expensive. If you're eating out, eat inside instead of sitting on the sidewalk (with extra charge in Europe). Make sure to bring a pocket knife so you can eat fruits on the go.
10. Live life to the fullest!
Last but not the least,it is important to get out of your comfort zone (try exotic foods) to enjoy your trip.
That's it! Have a safe trip!

What To Do After Your Trip
Congratulations, you just came back from your vacation! Now is the opportune time to organize your thoughts and memorabilia to save it for a lifetime. Here are some tips on how to save those pictures, tickets and everything that proves that you went to that place.
Scrapbook
This method is a fun way to save your pictures and memorabilia. You can stick together those things and you can even design it in any way that you want. You can use colorful papers, buttons, ribbons and any other material that pleases your eyes.
Tip: Be sure to use ACID FREE materials to make your pictures last forever.
Collage
Make a collage of your pictures and put it on a frame. It will be a very nice decoration in your house, and your visitors can see it instantly without flipping a page.
Digital Scrapbook
Iif you don't want to be messy with all the clutters of scrapbook, try digital scrapbook. You don't need to buy materials for your scrapbook anymore you just need a printer to print your fabulous memories. Here is a website that offers a free software and digital kits.
Online saving
There are various site where you can save and share your pictures and experience to other people. Here are some of the sites:
Blogger.com one ofthe first blogging platforms on the Web, it is one of the simplest site to use. Just set it up with your Gmail account.
LiveJournal.com is like a blog and social network combined. There is a friends page where you can see their updates and you updates. don't worry you can apply filter to select friends who can view your updates.
Wordpress.com is similar to Blogger.com. You can manage your cotent but themes are kind of limiting. you should be well-versed in CSS orelse your themes will in into complicated situation, so I suggest sticking to the themes they offer.
Tumblr.com this site allows you to post photos, text, audio and even video in just one platform. You can follow other people and see their posts in a feed called dashboard. I suggest you put a watermark onyour photos because some people steal other's work.

- Save your boarding pass (if you took a plane) or your train or bus tickets, maps, fliers, receipts, newpaper clippings, a small amount of y in the local currency or any piece of evidence that proves you actually went to that destination.
- List down the names of the places you visited as a well as their locations. At the end of the day write about what you did, what you saw and any other interesting tidbits about the place. If you don't list them down now, chances are, you'll forget them later.
- Learn the language of the country or town you're visiting. Jot down common phrases such as "hello" "good morning" and "thank you" in the local dialect. While you're there use them as much as possible while talking to the locals.
- Take lots of pictures! Don't limit yourself to just taking photos of yourself and the sites--everyone has those. Instead, also take pictures of the people, the food, the clothes--immerse yourself in their culture as much as you can! Then when you write your journal entry about the delicious local dessert you had at that small resto in the town, you'll have a picture to go with it.
- Buy a small token or souvenir from each place you visit such as key chain, magnet or t-shirt. You can even start your own collection of tokens from all places you visit in the future.
So that's it! I hope you got some ideas on how to save your memories for a life time.
